Rangeenak ( traditional fresh dates and caramelized flour and butter dessert) : Guest Post on Gheza-e-shiriin




Rangeenak (رنگینک) is a popular dish among communities of Iranian descents here in Kuwait, and is often prepared especially  in Ramadan. Not sure where the name came from. Though I know "Rang "(رنگ) means color in Farsi, so it could have came from the fact that the flour is caramelized (colored) before topping the dates.
