Rangeenak ( traditional fresh dates and caramelized flour and butter dessert) : Guest Post on Gheza-e-shiriin

Rangeenak (رنگینک) is a popular dish among communities of Iranian descents here in Kuwait, and is often prepared especially  in Ramadan. Not sure where the name came from. Though I know "Rang "(رنگ) means color in Farsi, so it could have came from the fact that the flour is caramelized (colored) before topping the dates. But whatever the name means it really is a rich, nutty and fulfilling dessert to dive into. To see the full post and get the recipe, head over to Gheze-e-shiriin website. My post is live right now.
